Prep work starts Saturday for bridge replacement over I-94 in Detroit

March 7, 2019 — Weather permitting, Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) contract crews will begin prep work Saturday, March 9, to replace the French Road and Concord Street overpasses above I-94 in Detroit. All work on this $17.6 million investment is scheduled to be completed in November.

Coinciding with the meeting, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be seeking vital input to help establish a vision and priorities for a new state long-range transportation plan.

Ongoing bridge work and pavement repair require I-94 closures in Detroit

October 23, 2018 — The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be closing portions of I-94 in Detroit over the next three weekends. The closures between I-75 and Conner Street will alternate between the eastbound and westbound lanes, with one closure including both directions.
